The new EM 24000 HE DIG PLUS DD has been created by the OMB center for the development of high efficiency transmitters. It consists of the FMA 24000 HE power amplifier which has 70% efficiency and two EM 250 DIG PLUS transmitters.
This 24kW amplifier is composed by eight 3-3.5kW amplifying stages (FMA 3000 HE) and has an approximately consumption of 34.3kVA, so it can be amortized in a short period of time due to its low consumption. Thanks to the Automatic Switching System (ATS) included in the equipment, in case of failure of the main exciter, the emission of the equipment continues, being unnecessary the purchase of any reserve transmitter.
NEW FMA 24000 HE MAIN FEATURES
- Typical AC efficiency of 70%. Typical RF efficiency of 76%
- 8 amplifying stages with 4 amplifying modules of 900W with MOSFET technology each
- Each amplifying stage contains 3 independent switching power supplies connected in parallel for maintaining the operation of the equipment in case of failure of any of them
- TFT screen and touch keyboard for the control and visualization of operation parameters
- Memory recording of events
- Speed control of cooling fans according to the temperature of power modules for optimizing the consumption and decreasing the acoustic contamination
- Advanced protection against load mismatches without transmission cuts and fast protection in case of excessive reflected power and/or excessive input power.
- Analog telemetry, digital remote control and telemetry RS232, remote control by opened/closed contacts
- Low pass filter, Mains EMI filter
- Automatic power reduction at night when used in combination with the EM 250 DIG PLUS transmitter
- Automatic power reduction in case of high temperature, the equipment returns automatically to its rated power value when the temperature reaches back an average value.
- Automatic power reduction in case of failure of one of the power supplies and in case of excessive reflected power.
- Automatic voltage control for efficiency optimization.
